Georgie

This week we welcomed Georgie and her fur baby to Blue Tin Ranch. Georgie arrived in a packed-to-the-gills, silver Kia Soul. She is originally from Cheshire Great Britain so you know I loved to just listen to whatever she had to say! She usually flies from her home in NJ to visit her partner in San Francisco, but this time she made the decision to see the West with her faithful companion. One of my favorite things to do is to track where the planes above me are going, and inevitably the plane above me is going or coming from San Francisco to one of the NY airports. Now I can envision that Georgie is the one flying above me!

A really fun aspect of hosting folks on the farm, is getting to know where they are from and where they are going. Georgie's next stop was to be at the Badlands of South Dakota. Most people don't realize the amazing stops in between. There are the Falls of the Big Sioux in Sioux Falls, the super corny Corn Palace in Mitchell (Worlds ONLY!!), the Dignity Statue in Chamberlain, 1880 Town, Murdo Car Museum and my all time favorite of Wall Drug!

I hope Georgie is having the time of her life and arrives safely in San Francisco. It was sure fun to have her stop here! Who will we welcome next? I can't wait to find out!!
