The Story of
'Something Blue'
For years, Mom and I have talked about hosting a wedding showcase out here at the ranch. We always said "someday."
Then this fall, we set up a booth at a bridal show and spent the day next to some of the most talented, generous people in the wedding world: photographers, bakers, DJs, florists and more. We swapped stories and traded business cards. More than one of them asked us the same question: "Have you ever thought about hosting one out at your barn?"
We drove home with a stack of cards and a whole lot of encouragement. Somewhere on that drive, "someday" turned into "this spring."
So we're opening the gates of our fifth-generation family ranch on Mother's Day weekend and bringing together the people who make weddings around here so special. Small, local and personal, the way we think a showcase should be.
Now presenting: The Something Blue Showcase.
