A Weekend Wedding Venue Two Hours From Omaha
If you're planning an Omaha wedding and you want corn fields instead of a ballroom, we're a straight shot north.
Blue Tin Ranch sits on ten acres outside Burbank, South Dakota, about two hours up I-29, six miles off the interstate, in the corner where South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska meet. Far enough that it feels like a destination. Easy enough that it's one highway the whole way.
Why Omaha couples choose us:
We host one wedding a weekend, and you get the whole farm from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon.
That's what makes the drive worth it. Come up Friday and set up without rushing. Have your rehearsal dinner out under the pavilion. Get married Saturday with corn on every side and nothing else in view. Sunday morning, have coffee on the porch with whoever stayed over and pack up slow.
No other couple setting up around you. No clock running. No hard stop.
Your people can stay
Eighteen guests sleep right on the property, the guest house holds eight, the chicken coop has two bedrooms, and there's an apartment upstairs. Your wedding party, your parents, your siblings, whoever you want close.
Everyone else has hotels in Vermillion, Elk Point, North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes, all between ten and twenty-five minutes out.
A lot of Omaha couples build the whole weekend around it: Friday rehearsal, Saturday wedding, Sunday brunch, family on site the entire time.

Bring your own vendors
Your photographer, florist, DJ and caterer are welcome to make the trip, and Omaha vendors have worked here before.
We don't have a required vendor list and we allow outside catering. It's your wedding, your way.
Getting here
Straight north on I-29, then six miles off the interstate on Burbank Road. You'll know it when you see it — we're the farm with all the blue roofs.
Nearest airport for out-of-town guests is Sioux Gateway (SUX) in Sioux City, about 25 minutes away. Sioux Falls Regional (FSD) is about an hour. Omaha Eppley (OMA) is two.
